These employees jumped ship en masse after new management dug their heels a little too deep in the ground. One worker led the rest of the employees who worked as technicians to another company.
The result should have been obvious to the new manager in hindsight, but hey, 20/20 always comes after everything goes to shambles. What happened goes as follows… OP was working as the foreman at a food distribution company with a fleet of about 100 units total.
The company hired this new guy who had no idea what he was doing, and did not have a clue in regards to managing time, which led to so much extra work, it was a sad waste of time. This led to that, and suddenly OP found himself sitting in a meeting with HR, being scolded for 'insubordination'.
